Stroke Recovery and Background

This where we start the rather disjointed tale of my haemorrhagic stroke.  When I quizzed my doctors on 'why' this happened I was told repeatedly, that this is not because of something I did wrong.  It wasn't my fault.  On one level that's a good thing to know, but it doesn't make what one goes through any easier.  Having been healthy and vibrant and then to get slammed by something over which one had no control is annoying at the least and terrifying at the extreme.  This wasn't something that could have been prevented by diet or by wearing a helmet, or even simply keeping one's temper.

And because of it I find that I have more to say, and I'm dropping it into this somewhat neglected blog.  Of course that does mean I need to organize what's here.  And I'm finding that working with Blogger to get all of my posts organized to be a real chore.  At the time of writing this there is so much to be done.  There are all the legacy oral cancer bits and pieces, and the 'watching the world' opinion  bits and now all of the stroke entries.  I'm seriously looking for a different, easier to manage blogging platform, or just a way to simplify what I've got and what I have to say.

In the meantime, for the whole Stroke story and timeline, you'll have to wade through the dozens of posts on the Home page.  Or you could simply try clicking on the following links to get the information and narrative that you're looking for.  Your success or failiure in retrieving the information this way will demonstrate how well I'm managing to get along with Blogger.  ;)  So click here:
